Paper Tablets: Real Paper Feel or Overhyped?

Paper Tablets: Real Paper Feel or Overhyped?

by Mark Oomkes on Sep 15th, 2024 18:35 PM

Has anyone here used a paper tablet like the reMarkable or Boox for note-taking or reading? I'm considering getting one because I find traditional screens tiring on the eyes, especially for extended reading and writing sessions. How’s the writing experience compared to real paper? Also, how do these devices perform when it comes to syncing notes or files across different platforms? I'm curious if they’re worth the investment and if there are any standout features or issues I should be aware of before purchasing.

Many people who use paper tablets like the reMarkable or Boox find them great for note-taking and reading, especially due to their eye-friendly e-ink displays. The writing experience is close to real paper, though slightly less textured. Syncing across platforms generally works well, though it can vary by brand. This Geniatech paper tablet is also worth considering for its smooth integration and strong note-taking capabilities. It's definitely a solid investment if screen fatigue is a concern!
