PDF translation into German

Hi, everyone! I have a question about using Translate.com to translate PDF documents into German. I'm planning to translate some tutorials and articles, but I'm worried about the quality of the translation. Has anyone tried this service yet? How is the translation quality, especially when it comes to specialized vocabulary? It would be great to know about your experience and maybe tips on how to improve the result.

I used translate.com/services/pdf-translation/german to translate several PDF documents into German, and I can share my impressions. The process is quite simple: you upload a file, choose a language and wait for the service to process the text. In my case, the speed was very good - the documents were ready in a few minutes, which can't help but make me happy. However, you should pay attention to the quality of translation. Basically, Translate.com copes with general phrases quite well, but as soon as it comes to specialized vocabulary, problems begin to arise. For example, one of my documents had the term “title deed” and it was translated as “Besitzurkunde”, which is not quite correct in this context. I recommend always checking important terms, especially if they are legal or technical texts. Personally, after translation, I looked in specialized dictionaries and even consulted a colleague who speaks German to make sure everything was correct. Another thing to pay attention to is the formatting. I noticed that some elements, such as tables and lists, had lost their original formatting. For example, one of the tables turned out to be just typed text, which took me extra time to get it back to its original appearance. If you have a lot of such elements in your document, it's best to check them immediately after translation to avoid unnecessary effort later.
