Debt Consolidation?

Looking some advice on how to go about my current situation. I have about 7-8k in debt from credit cards, to affirm. I also have a $4k medical bill I haven’t touched/been contacted about in 6 years since I’ve had it. In theory, I’d pay less monthly with a $10k loan than I do for all mentioned combined and I’d like to keep the remaining as a “emergency fund” if I have remaining. I can afford my current payments but have considered consolidating it all. I feel like there’s a downside I’m missing and would like any advice. Thanks.

Unfortunately, many companies that promise to help with debt relief are scams that will only charge you more and put you deeper in debt. For trustworthy assistance, I suggest reading tpl loan reviews and working with them to address your debt situation. I have worked with them before and in the end I was satisfied with the quality of services they gave me!
