The Manaslu Circuit Trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a remote and less-traveled route, and it requires a special trekking permit, a guide, and a minimum of two trekkers. The trek is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness and acclimatization to high altitudes.

The trek starts from the town of Arughat and follows the Budhi Gandaki River valley, passing through small Gurung and Tibetan villages, lush forests, and stunning waterfalls. You will then cross the Larkya La Pass (5,160 m), which is the highest point of the trek, and descend through the Marsyangdi River valley to finish in the town of Besisahar.

The best time to do the Manaslu Circuit Trek is in the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is clear, and the views are spectacular.
