VAT registered

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about investing in this new startup, but I want to make sure they're VAT registered first. Does anyone know how to check?

Hey there! Many people wonder with the tax . Checking if a company is VAT registered is actually pretty easy. You can use the VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) to check their VAT number and see if it's valid. First, you'll need the company's VAT number. This should be displayed on their website or any invoices they've sent you. Once you have that, just go to the VIES website and enter the number. The system will then check the number against the database of registered VAT numbers and tell you if it's valid or not.
