How to reduce noise in room?

by Mark Oomkes on Jul 7th, 2023 09:08 AM

Hello everybody, I live in a small room and it's 16x16 room.

I wanna ask that is there any way to reduce or lessen the outside noise as much as possible. I'm trying to find the noise solutions for so long but finding the exact equipment is really a tough job.

Anyone here can guide  please?

To reduce noise in a room, you can employ several strategies. Start by sealing any gaps or cracks in doors, windows, or walls to prevent sound leakage. Adding weather-stripping or door sweeps can help with this. Thick curtains or blinds can absorb sound and reduce echoes. Consider using acoustic panels or foam to dampen noise reflections. Placing bookshelves or other furniture against the walls can also help absorb sound. Additionally, using rugs or carpets on the floor can reduce noise transmission. If the noise is coming from outside, installing soundproof windows or using soundproofing panels can be effective. Finally, consider using white noise machines or fans to mask unwanted sounds.
