Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my rotor. It's been making these weird noises lately and i did everything i could in terms of trying to understand the problem and even have done some operations to remove vibration myself, but it still prevails

Yes, I've had similar issues before. It could be due to a variety of reasons, but one common cause is an imbalance in the rotor. When the rotor inside the compressor isn't balanced, it can lead to vibrations and noise, and it might affect the cooling efficiency. Have you checked if there's any visible damage or unusual wear?

That sounds plausible. I've dealt with this issue at my workplace. Rotor imbalance can indeed cause problems with air conditioning systems. When the rotor isn't balanced, it causes the motor to work harder, and that can reduce the efficiency of the cooling process. I've heard that balancing the rotor can resolve these issues. So the answer rotor balancing. Balancing the rotor is typically a task for professionals. It involves precise measurements and adjustments to ensure that the rotor operates smoothly. If you're not experienced with this kind of maintenance, it's best to hire a technician. They can safely disassemble the motor, balance the rotor, and reassemble everything properly. Attempting to balance the rotor without the proper tools and expertise can lead to further damage.
