Hello dive community,

today my DiveVR was shipped and of course, I tested it immediately. As the title says, I use my Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300) with the latest cyanogenmod 10.2 rom installed on it. As expected: it works really good. The dive launcher is pretty neat but I've to try the other apps out there.

Stefan, great job mate!

Thanks thats good to hear !
We know that dive is not yet perfect. We are working hard to evolve it further. We will make an upgrade scheme that allows registered users to keep their dive up to date.
Also we encourage hacking,
for example you can make the padding softer by cutting it in half.

Got my Dive yesterday. Using it also in combination with my S3, however... I noticed that the powerbutton hits either the hinges or the closeing mechanism resulting in a shutdown of the device when it's inserted. Do you experience the same of have any solution?

Got my Dive today, but havent't experienced that problem, but a way more tragic one. My Dive springs open after a time, even though I'm using the lower padding. Any one experienced that Problem. I'll problably have hack a lock mechanism into my dive... :/

I have this Problem with the powerbutton or the volume control. Is there a way to deactivate the buttons, maybe?

i have a workaround for this problem.

i just bought this flip cover for my phone
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Flip-Cover-LT-Sa ... 4d14bd9830

and removed the padding.

The phone fits in perfectly and stable.

Good idea!

I went and bought this one: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0081R3OM0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

After cutting free the buttons for power and volumecontrol and trimming down the dive-padding it works excellent.
