IPhone rotating

Hi everybody.

I am developing on IPhone and my main issue is that the camera is rotating even when the Phone is laying on the table.
Same with the sample-App an "the height" in AppStore, I am using an IPhone 5, but same with IPhone 4.

Anybody else with this problem?

Be sure to untick "Add_Rotation_Gameobject" in the Open Dive Sensor script.

Apart from that, this forum is almost dead. Better head over to the unity forum.

Thank you for your ansfer.

Add_rotation_gameobject is not set. I trief to find a method to calibrate it but it doesn't work for now.

However, with this slow rotation the whole system is unusable. Maybe I switch over to rift.

When developing for the Rift in Unity the Pro version is mandatory.

The advantage of using your smartphone is the much cheaper development costs. Albeit you need a Unity mobile license which I luckily got some time back when Unity gave away free mobile licenses for a short period of time.
The sad thing is that not much people develop for OpenDive-like products. And that the authors make themselfs scarce. Feels like a one hit wonder right now.

Yes, I totally agree with you.

I went to Dive because of the low costs and the freedom to not have to be plugged to your box.
There are a few other threads thad adresses the rotation-problem. If that isn't solved it's unusable. Unfortunatly I don't know much about Quaternations and rotations in Unity fix it myselve... Stefan?
Maybe vrAse is an alternative.

yeah that sounds about right , I have no rotation on android can anyone help? im a noob. trying to get something ready for presentation so we can buy some durovis dives...
