New app in dev: 'The Kiss' - WW1 poetry

Hey guys, new developer here...
I'm a designer who mainly works on BBC TV programmes so this is quite a big step for me...and I'd very much appreciate some Dive-specific guidance in Unity! Thankfully I don't think it's anything too complicated.

I'm working with a team who have just finished producing some gorgeous illustrative films to be aired on UK TV later this year as part of the First World War Centenary. I've persuaded my bosses that it's worth investing some time in trying to make something for the up-and-coming mobile VR platforms - and we have some exciting forthcoming meetings to show off what we've done so far!

So, the idea is to put the user right into the papery, stylized environment of the film and unfold the story of the poem all around them. The only real interaction will be triggering events by looking at them - other than that, it's a fairly passive experience. The rifle and its' associated parts is the only 3d object really, apart from a distant biplane - everything else, including several soldiers and trees, are paper-style cutouts.

Here is the poem that will feature in the app, both with kinetic typography and the audio track from the TV programme. It might seem cute so far, but the film represents the poem in possibly the grittiest way you can show paper soldiers getting shot in the head and being impaled by a bayonet. War sucks.

The Kiss
by Siegfried Sassoon

To these I turn, in these I trust;
Brother Lead and Sister Steel.
To his blind power I make appeal;
I guard her beauty clean from rust.

He spins and burns and loves the air,
And splits a skull to win my praise;
But up the nobly marching days
She glitters naked, cold and fair.

Sweet Sister, grant your soldier this;
That in good fury he may feel
The body where he sets his heel
Quail from your downward darting kiss.

I look forward to your thoughts and feedback - I'll be putting some questions to you guys next week, which I hope you can help with (I'm a total noob at scripting). Cheers!

Hey, funny that you should post that today, as we've just launched the app!

You can grab it from the Play Store if you're in the UK, otherwise try the developer copy.

The WW1 poetry shared here is brilliant, and I like the different sentiments analyzed here. I am working on my ukwritings paper, and once I am done with it, I will share this poetry with my friends.
