Old and new plugin, different devices, different bugs

by Vno on Sep 10th, 2014 06:28 AM

I am testing the Dive plugin for unity, which is great by its simplicity, but i recently started to use the new plugin as well as some other devices and i encountered several bugs. I tested with a very simple scene, to be sure of what i see.

Nexus 4 - Old and New plugin: Perfect
Hisense Sero 7 Pro - Old and New: Perfect
Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic Touch 4G - Old: Perfect
-New: Behaves sometimes weirdly, a bit like if I was really drunk. When i turn the head to focus on an object, it moves back when i stop to move the head. The calibration does not solve the problem
LG Spectrum VS920 - Old: The view jumps (reverses) every second (more or less), it is unplayable.
- New: Looks like a parkinson effect, even when hold still the view is constantly shaking. The calibration does not solve the effect.

Is there some simple fixes, one can perform to get rid of this problem?

The next update will have a menu where you can disable some things like autocalibration and with that you might be able to point out the problem more precisely.
Please stay tuned,

Thanks for helping !

If that can help to have a better plugin, you are more than welcome. :D

Just tried with the Galaxy Nexus, no problem on this side, autocalibration works fine.

I am also wondering how much the CPU is the bootleneck in this kind of issue. The only problem that i see with the VS920 is that it has the slowest CPU of the group, despite having a decent GPU.
