Unity 4.6.2 (iOS 64 support) compatibility

by jumahe on Feb 1st, 2015 15:16 PM

Hello.
The last release of Unity 4.6.2 now supports iOS 64-bits (http://unity3d.com/unity/whats-new/unity-4.6.2).
Will you plan to release a new version of the unity plugin supporting il2cpp in order to target arm64 devices?
Thxs a lot.

Hi Fahrenheiz,

Sorry I didn't post a reply earlier I've only just seen your message. I haven't heard back about 64-bit iOS support so I put my project on hold. I'll let you know if I get back to it and solve the issue at a later date.

Unity 4.6.4 + IL2CPP (Universal build, 32bits + 64bits) : OK :-)
Unity 5.0.1 + IL2CPP (Universal build, 32bits + 64bits) : Failure :-(

What we are building at lumiweb was first conceived in lumiweb.org as a method of verifying and storing the documents people create everyday without having to think about how. It has evolved over time into something that encompasses more than just documents. It involves the entire spectrum of digital media, encompassing images, video, audio, text files, plus any online content people might want to share in the future.
