A friend recently told me that his data had appeared on a public site, and I decided to check mine. It turned out that my old contacts and addresses were also available. I’ve dealt with this before too, and honestly, I used DeleteMe to get my info off those people search sites. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but it did the job without much hassle. If you don’t want to spend money, you could manually opt out on each site, but that can take a while and some sites make it tricky to find the right links.
