Many people are not familiar with the term 'chocolate cyst' let alone know of a chocolate cyst treatment. These ovarian cysts are not pleasant to those that struggle with them. These are related to endometriosis, which is a female disorder involving the reproductive system.

These are a form of ovarian cyst, and can cause ovary symptoms like pelvis pain and lower abdominal pain. This is quite uncomfortable. Women with these find it difficult getting pregnant, and have other ovary symptoms like painful sex, and irregular periods. There are many treatments available. And it is important to find appropriate treatments for ovarian cysts in order to prevent further damage.

These cysts form from cells in the uterus that may get repositioned outside of the ovaries. They them begin to form small sac like structures that may enlarge over time. These ovarian cysts are then strengthened from the hormones released during a woman's menstrual cycle. This may then cause more small cysts to form and grow. These chocolate cysts begin to take over healthy ovarian tissue.

Now why do they call them 朱古力瘤 chocolate cysts? These cysts on ovary get their name from the thick brown blood substance that is contained within these ovarian cysts. It looks similar to stringy chocolate syrup, thus the name. Occasionally you may experience ruptured ovarian cysts. When these cysts rupture, this substance coats the organs of the pelvic area. These include the uterus, the ovaries, and even the bladder. Damage to the tissues can occur, resulting in extreme lower pelvic pain.
