I want to buy a car at auction

Hey everyone, I'm currently in the market for a salvage car, and I've been exploring various auction sites. I wanted to get your thoughts and recommendations on whether it's a good idea to buy a salvage car and if any of you have experience with specific auction websites. What are the pros and cons, and are there any reputable sites you would suggest? Looking forward to hearing your insights!

I recently used Car Auctions Cincinnati https://abetter.bid/locations/usa/oh/cincinnati-99018 for purchasing a salvage car, and I must say I had a positive experience. The website is user-friendly, and the information provided for each vehicle is extensive and detailed. It made the decision-making process easier. The site's reliability is commendable; the information was accurate, and there were no hidden surprises. The range of salvage cars available was impressive, and the customer service was responsive. Overall, it's a platform I would recommend based on my personal experience.

The biggest pro is definitely the price—you can score some serious deals if you know what to look for. Just make sure to do a thorough inspection (even if it's just through detailed photos) and account for potential repair costs. As for sites, Copart and IAAI are the big names I’ve used, but definitely keep an eye on the fees.

If you decide to go through with it, make sure you’ve got a plan for getting the car home. Last time I got one, I used https://www.a1autotransport.com/ to ship it over, and they handled everything really well, especially considering it wasn’t in running condition.
