oculus rift

Hi,
is there a way to play oculus rift games for example with teamviewer, splashtop or sth like this?
So the opendive, or exactly the smartphone would be only used as display.
Maybe there is also a posibility to use the motion.

While this would technically be possible, I doubt that it's going to be a pleasant experience. Low latency is absolutely critical for creating an immersive VR experience, and the remote display is going to add a lot of overhead. Best practice seems to be <20ms delay between head movement and display, with less than that being preferable. I think that adding 2x WiFi transmit delay, plus overhead for encoding/transmitting/decoding the video frame, is likely to end up somewhere in the range between "not immersive" and "nauseating".

An interesting experiment would be to do part of the motion compensation on the display side, translating the received image based on how the head moved since the time the sensor input used for this frame was sampled. But I suspect this will cause unpleasant artifacts unless the game software is designed to cooperate - for example, the barrel distortion shader that's usually used for Rift apps would interfere with this.

The player awakens in a shadowy cellar at the beginning of the game to learn that they have been kidnapped by a weird elderly lady dubbed Granny. The player has to maneuver their way out of the home with just a flashlight in hand, taking care not to make any noises along the way to avoid being discovered.
