Is there any way (except rooting) to get rid of the black navigation/home bar on the nexus devices, so that the full screen size is used.

I guess the only way is that the games/software are supporting the new "immersive mode" of Android Kitkat.

My problem with the demo apps/games on the Nexus 5 is that I cannot quit them with the "back" softkeys, I have to go to the task list and end the taks there manually - very annoying.

Other than that, the newly received commercial Dive Version has a very poorly executed/flimsy open/close mechanism IMHO.
I´m afraid this little plastik nose holding the front clamp will break quickly.... I´m a bit disappointed by the built quality to be honest.

Dive material does not break :)
you can make the padding softer by cutting it in half or quarters.
All the new apps support this feature. I will release the next version of the Plugin soon.
