Hi!
I've got a Sony Xperia Go, and I want to buy Dive. This phone isn't on the list, so I downloaded DiveUnityDemo to make sure its working but a screen appeared that I haven't got gyroscope. On some forums I saw that this phone has got gyroscope, other forums sayed that it hasn't. Why the forums sayed that I have got gyroscope?

I think you do not have Gyro, but you can check it with this:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... dsensorbox

However the dive is still great just to view 3d Movies! and you do not need a Gyro for that, just MX player and set aspect ratio to 32:9 and of course a movie in SBS 3d.

Well, the full VR experience is with the gyroscope, so I searched for some used phones, and I found this:
Samsung Galaxy Mini 2
LG Optimus 2X
Which would be the best?

Out of those two I think LG optimus 2x, I see they are around 100 euro's on ebay.. for 124.99 dollar you have galaxy s3.. (ebay)

The S2 mini resolution is very low 320x480 split that in two (for each eye) and you are left with 160x240 , LG has 480X800 resolution but the Galaxy s3 has 720P (same as oculus rift dk1), and the user community for s3 is very big, so it is easy to get stripped custom rom to gain some speed for gaming :D

I think you miss the picture here.. The Durovis Dive is for people that have a high end smartphone because you will need a High end smartphone for this to work. The games are quite demanding.

I think Galaxy S3 is minimum, but if you still want to go on, why not try and find a Chinese smartphone on the used market.
Maybe you can get quadcore and at least a 720P screen for around 80 dollars but I think you will have to look long and hard.
Goodluck!

I would recomnend waiting for the dive to support larger phones or modding the current dive and waiting for one of those

High end hardware and a very good price ;)
