VR Dancing Girls

I got my Dive not to long ago and thought I would make a small app that works on the majority of phones.
The app enables the camera in dual display split and then overlays a girl dancing. No tracking just a small demo.
Good clean fun.

Info:
Virtual Reality Dancing Girls is an augmented virtual reality experience.
This app is intended to be used for the Open Dive VR display or any DIY Virtual reality head-mount display projects.
Requirements:
1. App must have access to camera
2. Compatible with Open dive by: Durovis & other Phone VR displays
3. Phone must be able to handle Adobe Air Apps
Virtual Reality Dancing girls will work if the camera is not covered up and your head mount display lenses are positioned correctly. However your experience greatly depends on your phones camera and processing power.
Three girls included in this release.

The strange thing is I have not been able to get it to crash on anything I own. Even in the video you can see it working fine on the phone. I've even since downloaded it multiple times to make sure the upload wasn't corrupt. The really odd thing is it only seems to happen on phones that have come out within the past year or so. Might have something to due with the resolution of the screen and copying the camera twice.

On the google play crash report it only says one phone crashed when I 1st released it, which is common considering some people have really old phones.

By any chance do you have an ad blocker on for browsers? I have some ads that popup at the beginning while it loads, that might cause it but without feed back or an error code I can't fix an issue I haven't seen.

On my HTC one(m7) this app crashes also. Too bad cuz I like dancing girls 8-)
If I can do any thing to help you figure out why it crashes on newer phones let me know.

Crashes inmediatly in my LG G2.
I don't don't think is a olds smartphones issue, but a lack of testing on your side. People with a wide range of smartphones tested it and nearly everbody experienced the same problems

disregard the message below the issue has been solved however I hate removing posts for documentation reasons.

If anyone is interested in helping I would appreciate trying to narrow down the issue. This sucks it is literally 50/50. 50% works 50% not working.

Below is a link to a Zip file which contains 4 APK files. Each APK file is VR Dancing girls but has had one thing changed in each version to attempt to narrow down the issue.

"SOLVED" Link removed

What are the APKs:
VR Dancing Girls V1.2 - Embeded Air taken out would require Adobe Air App <-------This was the issue
VR Dancing Girls V1.3 - Ads Taken Out, might be an embeded browser issue
VR Dancing Girls V1.4 - Code cleanup attempt, wasn't much done
VR Dancing Girls V1.5 - Camera portion taken out. Possible camera compatibility issues

Need people to confirm it works on the following devices:
NEXUS4 android 4.4.3
HTC one(m7)
LG G2
Z1
GS5

Lack of testing is only limited by my funds. It is impossible for me to own 15 devices which most test teams have. I can only work with the two I have and any friends that are willing to try it out. However you might be right about the old phones issue. It may actually be the complete opposite, it may be an issue with newer phones. Res to high camera device issue or even an issue with 4.3 and 4.4.

It is very difficult when the system says it's compatible with 5000+ devices to narrow down an issue manually.

Don't take me wrong, please. I absolutely understand you, and admire your courage and passionbto develpe an vr app, really, I do. The only thing I say is not to take the easy answer, "the phones are too old or to new or whatever". Keep on working on your project, soon or later you'll find out why is crashing

It works now,
this verion:
Embeded Air taken out would require Adobe Air App.
When I try to install it it ask me to instel Adobe Air App after Ive done it it works.

Interesting but very low res! very blocky. an HD versin would be nice :)

Thank you so much for running the files to see if any of them work. Apparently it is an issue with the air version that is embedded when the project is compiled. I have set the application to let Google play handle the Adobe air side which means it should install the most appropriate configuration when Adobe Air app installs rather than a default one. Which also explains why it worked for some and not others. The new version should post hopefully within an hour Version 1.4.

Thanks again I owe you one :)
