Dive sensor gives wrong readings in Android device:

by waheed11 on Oct 4th, 2014 21:02 PM

Hello All
When I run my app in an android device (Samsung galaxy s3) in the portrait position, the views of the two cameras come longitudinally along the screen while it is expected to come laterally . And vice versa, in the landscape position, cameras views come laterally while it is expected to come longitudinally, please see the attached screenshots.
Also when I rotate the device around Y axis , the movement behave as I rotate the device around X axis . And vice versa, when I rotate the device around X axis , the movement behave as I rotate the device around Y axis
Note that :
- Everything is fine in Unity editor.
- The demo comes with dive works fine in the same device

I can’t figure out from where the problem comes, is it from the dive SDK? or, is it from my code in my project ? or, is it from the device itself ?
And please how to solve the problem? From which point I should start to solve the problem?

Thank you & Best Regards,,,
Waheed

Hey,
somehow the forums messed up your pictures, could you may upload them on another image hoster, like imageshak or so?

Did you already set:

File->Build Settings->Player Settings->Android->Resolution and Presentation->Default Orientation

to "Landscape Left"? If so, could you may provide an example unity project?

Dive sensor gives the wrong readings in the Android device in the year 2014 from the month of October. This is a unity plug in with the way of redbubble design that is to run the application in android device in the portrait position to come across.
