An IP PBX provider offers a private branch exchange system that uses Internet Protocol (IP) to manage and route calls within a business. This modern phone system supports advanced features like call forwarding, voicemail, and conferencing while leveraging the internet for communication, which reduces costs and improves scalability.

On the other hand, a VoIP Gateway is a hardware device or software solution that bridges traditional telephony systems with VoIP (Voice over IP) networks. It converts analog or digital voice signals from a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) into IP packets that can be transmitted over an IP network, and vice versa.

When used together, the IP PBX connects with the VoIP Gateway to provide a seamless communication experience. For example:
