Moving Grandma’s Baby Grand

When my grandma moved to our city, she brought along her beloved baby grand piano, a family treasure. Now we’re relocating her to a new apartment, and I’m freaking out about how to get the piano there without a scratch. Any solid recommendations for piano movers? Preferably folks who have experience with antiques? Appreciate any tips!

I feel you—moving a piano is no joke, especially one with sentimental value! When my aunt downsized a few years ago, she insisted on bringing her old upright that’s been in the family since the 1940s. We were all sweating bullets trying to figure out how to move it safely. After a lot of research, we ended up using movers who specialized in pianos, and let me tell you, it was worth every penny to see that thing arrive without a scratch. If you’re looking for pros, I’d check out Piano Moving Services They’ve got a good rep for handling antiques. Make sure they do a full wrap and have the right equipment—skimping isn’t worth the risk!
