I’m thinking about getting a dress altered, but I’m not sure what the process involves. Do I need to schedule an appointment ahead of time or just walk in? Also, how do they determine what needs to be adjusted? I want to make sure my dress fits perfectly, but I’m not familiar with the steps. Is it common for alterations to take a week or more, or can it be done faster? Any tips for someone who's never had this done before would be appreciated! I'm worried about finding a tailor that understands exactly what I want.
