DiveWars - AR/VR tech demo

Take a look at my new project: http://youtu.be/Tlib-4n2F7Y

Augmented Lightsaber running in a Dive VR environment. It uses the devices camera and a cylinder marker to render the lightsaber into the scene.

Ill post more info on this project soon but for now please checkout the video and try it for yourself. I made two scenes , one in the video is divescifi.apk

And I also reused my baseball stadium scene and added the AR elements. I included this one since it runs smoother and faster than the scifi app , for older devices , etc...

Also you will need to print out this marker and tape it to any round object . With the app running hold it in front of the camera and the lightsaber should appear

You can also print out this marker (flat image not meant to go around a bottle ). This one when held in front of the camera will display a teapot

Enjoy.. More info and updates soon

I was pretty impressed when I held up my cup and saw a lightsaber... Keep up the good work!

Thanks bbennett!

be sure to print and try the other flat marker. It displays a teapot (which I know is not as cool as a lightsaber) . But it actually works smoother and is a nice demo as well
