Hi there,

I've been running some tests with barrel distortion for lense correction. I'm not completely happy with the result but this is the closest I've got without unity pro or trying to use the latest occulus sdk (which might be a good solution since it's now compatible with unity free and allows to work with render texture and pixel shading)

Download here. A little demo where you can jump around a room on things

I'm using:
- a custom vertex shader for the distortion
- duplicated mesh with a high resolution mesh to limite segment visibility if close to the object
- baked shadows, not sure how to incorporate real time shadows in a shader

I'm interested to have feedback on how this run on your device (distortion, framerate though this remane low poly)

i've tested on a gs3 and a Z3 compact

can you explain or show how you did this because I am trying to add this to my game and i only have the free version of unity.
