I'm considering purchasing a coat and want to ensure it's an authentic mink coat. Can anyone share tips or red flags to look out for? I've heard that genuine mink fur has a soft, dense texture and a natural sheen. What are the key differences between real mink and faux fur? 

Also, are there specific labels or certificates I should look for to confirm it's an authentic mink coat? Any advice on reputable sellers or ways to verify authenticity would be greatly appreciated.
