Hey! I’ve recently fallen in love with the look of British Shorthairs—those chubby cheeks and plush coats are too cute. But I’m curious what they’re like to live with day to day. Are they really as chill and independent as people say?

Hey there! I’ve had my British Shorthair for almost two years now, and honestly, she’s been the most low-drama, easy-going pet ever. I found her through KittensUp4Sale after browsing British shorthair for sale listings and was impressed by how knowledgeable the breeders were. She loves to lounge, observe, and occasionally ask for snuggles—but never demands attention. If you want a classy, mellow companion, this breed is gold.
